Diagnostic Specialist/Executive - Technical Service

We are hiring for a leader in industrial vehicle leasing. Their business is centered on the operating lease of commercial vehicles and industrial material handling equipment.
The Job
Key responsibilities areas:
- To focus on Capability Development of New Vehicle( eg. Electric Vehicle)
- To be able to perform High Value component fault finding, diagnosis and repair (eg. engine, turbo system, Cam bus, etc)
- To process knowledge of Vehicle System Overview with proper understanding of the interlink and Interlock systems onboard Commercial Vehicles
- To perform Defect trend analysis
- To lead Technical investigation and discussion
- To lead the diagnostic Team
- Manage Fleet Management study on operation Vs durability studies
- To submit Technical report
- To provide Technical Training and Guidance to technicians
- To Source for local solution to improve product durability and reliability
- To support workshop in repair and servicing when need arises
- Advise and perform in-depth and comprehensive trouble shooting in technical problem with and without using electronic diagnostic tools, raised by the team and perform hands-on repair to the vehicle if needed
- Check and ensure all the recording of repair findings, rectification, photos, voice message or any other details as required are accurate and precise
- Any other Duties assigned by Technical/ Operation Manager been assigned
Ideal Candidate
Key Competencies:
- You possess a NITEC in automotive or relevant experience (automotive truck and diagnostic skills)
- Possess a Class 5 license
- Able to use electronic diagnostic tools
- You are a strong mentor and coach who builds high performing teams; experience leading a team of technicians and distribution/control of work
- You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
- You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
