Senior Finance Manager (establishment of Singapore finance centre) job in Singapore at Before The Panel Pte Ltd

A games publisher & developer with an entrenched international reputation is now hiring for its Singapore office (new global finance centre). Experience in the start up/ establishment of a new entity is essential.

Responsibilities:

As Finance Manager, you will act as the primary senior contact point for financial & accounting matters, & oversee the veracity of policies & procedures + related outsourced services. Also key is the conduct of regular industry analysis & business intelligence research + provision of insights & recommendations.

[Tax]

• Improve compliance & efficiency; perform regular tax health checks, support tax compliance (e.g., review tax returns, transfer pricing requirements, country-by-country reporting)

• Oversee tax audits, execute tax policies + documentation

[Accounting]

• Prepare financial statements for external use (audits, regulatory submissions etc)

• Lead external communications as overall representative of the Finance department

• Liaise with the Clearing & Settlement team in HQ on client billing statement adjustments based on reconciliation feedback

Requirements:

• 5 years & up of relevant experience; Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Finance

• CPA, CFA, CMA qualifications preferred

• Experience in the start up/ establishment of a new entity

• Excellent communication skills, communicate with external parties as main representative + internally to ensure standards of performance are embraced, understood & executed

• Ability to support in P&L strategies & performance - keen eye for new business opportunities & strategic in thinking

• Added professional proficiency in Mandarin is a bonus, as there may be a need to liaise with monolingual teams or other parties
