With the expansion of our operation in southeast Asia, we are setting up a new office in Singapore and applying for a payments licence with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). The successful candidate, who will be an executive director, will be tasked with setting up and supporting our licensed payment operation for our renowned foreign exchange and payment service.

Compliance Director (ACRA Director) Singapore

Job Description

·                      Assist in setting up the operation and MAS licence application

·                      Regularly review company’s policies in compliance with regulations

·                      Ensure compliance of company’s AML/CFT policy and regulatory requirement

·                      Analyse and advise board members regarding compliance and regulation

·                      Handle internal and external compliance reports

·                      Perform and oversee the daily KYC function, screening, and transaction monitoring

·                      Perform and oversee the onboarding of new client & business relationships

·                      Work closely with external professional parties (e.g.: Accountant, auditor, consultants etc)

·                      Ad hoc responsibilities when required



·                     University degree in accounting, business, finance or equivalent

·                     At least 4 years working experience related to the compliance function in payment services, banking or related areas in the financial services industry

·                     Good understanding of the MAS’s compliance framework, regulatory requirements, and suspicious activity reporting mechanism of Singapore

·                     Experience in communicating with Regulators will be considered an advantage

·                     Diligent, great attention to detail and proactive

·                     Ability to work independently and under pressure

·                     Excellent communication and presentation skills
