Compliance Director (ACRA Director) Singapore

Job Description

·                      Assist in setting up the operation and MAS licence application

·                      Regularly review company’s policies in compliance with regulations

·                      Ensure compliance of company’s AML/CFT policy and regulatory requirement

·                      Analyse and advise board members regarding compliance and regulation

·                      Handle internal and external compliance reports

·                      Perform and oversee the daily KYC function, screening, and transaction monitoring

·                      Perform and oversee the onboarding of new client & business relationships

·                      Work closely with external professional parties (e.g.: Accountant, auditor, consultants etc)

·                      Ad hoc responsibilities when required

Requirements

·                     University degree in accounting, business, finance or equivalent

·                     At least 4 years working experience related to the compliance function in payment services, banking or related areas in the financial services industry

·                     Good understanding of the MAS’s compliance framework, regulatory requirements, and suspicious activity reporting mechanism of Singapore

·                     Experience in communicating with Regulators will be considered an advantage

·                     Diligent, great attention to detail and proactive

·                     Ability to work independently and under pressure

·                     Excellent communication and presentation skills
