The Job

You will be responsible for :

  • Displaying, arranging, pricing, and rotating products in store. Ensuring that stores and shelves are stocked with the right types and quantities of products.
  • Maintaining store shelves by observing displays of company products, tidying store shelves, and providing optimum display of products. Optimizing sales volume by identifying bestsellers.
  • Maintaining inventory by restocking shelves with product from inventory, observing inventory levels, prompting store management to reorder when levels appear low, and arranging for return and credit for damaged products.
  • Checking expiry dates and implementing FIFO.
  • Completing call report by observing display and pricing of competitors’ products.
  • Determining call schedule by reviewing priorities with supervisor and discussing special instructions, product promotions, new products, and price changes.
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships by visiting with store managers, department managers, and employees.
  • Answering questions, responding to special requests, and describing product features.
  • Helping key account manager with special promotions by setting-up displays in stores, updating all POS materials, checking daily on special promotions, observing customer reaction to special promotions, forwarding observations to management, and removing promotions at end of special promotion period.
  • Assisting on customer stock take.
  • Assisting on company roadshows and events. Setting up and tear down roadshows and event.
  • Performing other ad hoc activities as assigned by immediate supervisor.

The Profile

  • You have at least 1 year of experience working in retail or merchandising.
  • You have required physical strength due to moving stock at outlet and replenishment.
  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You are hardworking and a good team player.
  • You are willing to travel around Singapore and follow assigned route daily.
  • You are willing to work on weekend if required.
